The architects were looking for solutions to protect a glass building from sunlight.
The project required the solution of two main problems: shielding Park49 office employees from solar radiation and being able to withstand the heavy snow loads in winter.
To achieve both goals, we specifically designed a 337-mm mesh in white-painted aluminium to cover the facade. The combination of engineering and aesthetic solutions resulted in innovative sun protections that create the right balance of light and shadow, contributing to the functionality of the building.
