Variable transparencies
Architectural firm: Jo Coenen & Co
Year: 2011
Mesh model: variabile
According to the project developed by the architect, the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) required maximum transparency or shaded sunlight depending on the levels.
We then conducted a detailed analysis and subsequently created a single mesh with varying degrees of transparency.
The building is classified to comply with zero-energy regulations.
The architectural complex represents one of the most important cultural institutions in the Netherlands, housing one of the world’s largest collections of architecture inside.
