The renovation project for the company’s headquarters aimed at transforming a series of old buildings in a modern and sustainable direction.
To meet this requirement, we covered the central building and showroom’s facades with panels of Corten expanded metal.
The final result is a surface area of 1,300 square metres, which changes colour over time.
The transparency of the screening was graded according to the portion of the building to be covered: lighter in front of the windows, denser for the parts on the wall.
It increased the diffusion of natural light where needed and a better view in the glazed areas, while simultaneously concealing the masonry ones.
The self-supporting panels, equipped with welded profiles, have a bayonet mount mechanism.
